Diving Pulau Weh second part

A bit far from Gapang, about 20min by boat in west direction, just in front of Iboih, there are two islands. The biggest and closer to the coastline is called Pulau Rubiah, and the further and smaller is called Pulau Seulako.


Sea Garden


On the east ridge of Rubiah island, there is a nice spot to have a fun dive called Sea Garden. Even though it is in a sand area there are a lot of green coral and many rocks with morey and anemones.





At the pictures and the video we can see: spotted moray, bicolor cleaner wrasse, six-banded angelfish, blue triggerfish, reticulated dascyllus, blueffin trevally, longface emperor, singular bannerfish, blacklip butterflyfish, spotted burfish, clark's anemonefish and clark's anemonefish orange variation, threespot dascyllus juvenile.

Arus Baleh


Between the two islands, there are a few big rocks that are called Arus Baleh. It can be a lot of current at this place that makes a wonderful place for many fishes to come.

At the pictures and the video we can see: threespot dascyllus, redfin anthias female, black pyramid butterflyfish, indo-pacific sergeant, frekled hawkfish, ribbon eal, indian triggerfish, clark's anemonefish, oriental sweetlips, powderblue surgeonfish, indian redfin butterflyfish, striped large-eye bream.


Deep Arus Baleh



At these pictures and video we can see: turtle, redfin anthias female, yellowmargin triggerfish, porcupinefish.


Arus Baleh with the strong current


At this dive, we had to hold us with the rocks to avoid the strong current, just exactly what the other fishes were doing. However, thanks to this more fishes swam close to us and it is more beautiful.




At these pictures and videos we can see: redfin anthias, scalefin anthias, black pyramid butterflyfish, indo-pacific sergeant, roundhead parrotfish, redmouth grouper, bluefin trevally, giant trebally, bignose unicornfish, striped large-eye bream, bicolor cleaner wrasse, pale-lipped surgeonfish, saddled snake eel, sunset anthias, powderblue surgeonfish.


East Seulako


Seulako is the smallest of the two islands at Iboih. It is inhabited by humans but full of live underwater. There are a lot of dive spots on this island. East Seulako is one of them.




At the pictures and the video we can see: spotted moray, nudibranch, prawn, titan triggerfish, albine moray, redtooth triggerfish
